SPACE: Seattle Pacific Access to College Experience

Seattle Pacific’s SPACE is a free, in-person, opportunity for high school juniors and seniors from diverse communities, students of color, and students who will be the first in their family to attend college. We will provide you with resources to succeed in college!

Why come to S.P.A.C.E.?

  • Extend your Early Action apply deadline to January 15 and apply for free!
  • Qualify toward a $1,000 Visit Scholarship by attending SPACE on campus (applicants only).
  • Experience themed student-led workshops.
  • Receive continued access to exclusive content.
  • Explore what your time at SPU could look like through tours, current student interactions, and engaging with various departments across campus!

  • A junior or senior in high school
  • A first-generation college student, student of color, undocumented/dreamer student, and/or a student from a diverse community

Join the Admissions staff as we welcome you to campus and preview the day.

10 a.m.

Campus Tours

Prospective students can join current students on a campus tour to see the campus and learn about their guides' favorite spots on campus.

11:10 a.m.

Lunch in Gwinn Commons

Enjoy lunch in our all-you-can-eat dining hall.

12:05 p.m.

Admission Information Session

Admissions Counselors will lead you through the college admissions process from start to finish and learn about available scholarships.

12:30 p.m.

Financial Aid Session

Hear from our student financial services staff about financial aid and how to file the FAFSA.

1:20 p.m.

Diving Deeper Panels

First in My Family: Navigating College as a First-Generation Student: Ask your burning questions about college life and navigating the transition.
Ways to Make and Keep Money in College: Learn about the various opportunities that students can make money in college from on-campus jobs to paid internships and side-hustles.
College Myths and How to be Prepared for Your First Year: There are plenty of myths about the college experience and what to expect. Learn about college life from student leaders and how they got involved on campus.
2 p.m.

Professor Appointments, Club Mingling, and Senior Application Drop-In

Chat with the various professors and clubs here on campus to see how you can find your community and get involved at SPU. You also have the option of attending an Application Drop-In to ask counselors questions about the application.

Falcon Bound Full Tuition Award

If you applied for Washington state’s College Bound program in middle school, you may be eligible to have 100 percent of your SPU tuition covered ! It’s called the Falcon Bound Commitment, and if you apply for admission and submit your FAFSA, you’ll be automatically considered.
