Stephen Fowl, Ph.D., presents the lecture “Reading Scripture in a Divided Church” on Wednesday, February 2, 12:30–1:20 p.m. in Demaray Hall 150. Fowl is professor of New Testament at Loyola College in Maryland. He’s the author of Engaging Scripture, Theological Interpretation of Scripture, and Philippians in the Two Horizons New Testament Commentary series. He is one of the world’s leading scholars on the topic of the theological interpretation of the Bible. The lecture is free, wheelchair accessible, and open to the public.
