Film Speak: The Richard Sohn Lecture

“Film Speak: The Richard Sohn Lecture” will feature alumnus Zeek Earl ’11, who co-founded the Seattle-based production company Shep Films with several SPU alumni. The company is producing its first feature film.

This inaugural lecture of the film studies program is Thursday, April 6, 7-8:30 p.m. in Demaray Hall 150.  The event is in honor of former SPU art student Richard Sohn, who had a strong interest in film prior to the film studies major. Richard died in a bus accident during Christmas break in 2013. He was a student of Professor of Art Roger Feldman, who says this lecture “honors the creative spirit of a young man who had a passion for film.” The event is free and wheelchair accessible.
