Are you looking for a community of scholars and friends who have a deep, abiding commitment to Christian faith that reaches around the world and is local at the same time? The School of Theology at Seattle Pacific University is that place. Through a unique model of scholarship, spiritual edification, and service we call “Academy, Abbey, Apostolate®” students are educated and equipped to engage the culture as thoughtful people.

Our Christian Theology Major lets you choose from four areas of concentration: Christian Mission, Christian Scripture, Educational Ministry, and Theological Studies. We also offer seven minors. Students of all majors take our three University Foundations courses.

Hosea (The Two Horizons Old Testament Commentary)

In this recently published commentary, “Hosea (Two Horizons Old Testament Commentary),” Drs. Bo Lim (associate professor of Old Testament at Seattle Pacific University and Seminary) and Daniel Castelo (associate professor of dogmatic and constructive theology at Seattle Pacific University and Seminary) come together “to help the church recover and read the prophetic book of Hosea in a way that is both faithful to its message and relevant to our contemporary context."
