Community Programs

SPU offers a variety of opportunities to study Scripture, form spiritual connections, and and think deeply about faith, reflecting a signature commitment of our University: “We will be a place that embraces the Christian Story, becoming biblically and theologically literate.”

Offerings include:

Young Adult Initiative

The SPU Young Adult Initiative is designed to address the disconnect among 20-somethings between low church participation and the desire to gather, spiritually grow, be intellectually challenged, and find deep purpose in life. This five-year project will help congregations in the Pacific Northwest design, launch, and evaluate new ministries for 23- to 29-year-olds. Learn more

Experience 10 days — an intensive, weeklong encounter in July and an October “Remix” island weekend retreat — where you’ll grow in your discipleship through classes, worship, service, community-building, and recreational opportunities.
