2008-09 FAFSA Deadlines
First Day to File January 1, 2008
Priority deadline for first-time freshmen February 1, 2008
Priority deadline for new transfers July 1, 2008
Priority deadline for continuing students June 1, 2008
Final day to file for 2008–09 June 30, 2009
2009-10 FAFSA Deadlines
First Day to File January 1, 2009
Priority deadline for first-time freshmen March 1, 2009
Priority deadline for continuing students June 1, 2009
Priority deadline for new transfers July 1, 2009
Final day to file for 2009–10 June 30, 2010


Submit your FAFSA online as soon as possible after January 1 of each year you will attend SPU.

SPU does not require the CSS PROFILE or a separate institutional form.

Expected Family Contribution (EFC)
The FAFSA calculates how much you and/or your family will be able to financially contribute based on federally mandated allowances and expectations given reported income, assets, and other information.
