Welcome to Student Life

Students walking in the Loop

Great things happen outside the classroom at Seattle Pacific University — a place where you’ll experience deeper learning, make lifelong friends, and discover new ways to serve and lead.

Our Mission: Your Success

At the Office of Student Life, we’re here to support you on your journey, with programs and services that promote excellence and values in your academics, in student leadership, on the athletic field, and in your walk with God.

Our intent is to enable you to engage in experiences that will help you grow and show Falcon pride, through special events and opportunities that underscore our University’s mission. Naturally that means we’ll help you succeed as a student, but there’s much more to success than what happens in the classroom. We’ll help you:

  • Discover your gifts and calling, as you find ways to make a difference in the world.
  • Get to know yourself better, taking steps toward lifelong health and wellness
  • Explore paths to reconciliation, in the context of a diverse campus (and global) community — a place where not everyone is like you.
  • Develop effective and professional relationships.

Through it all we’ll learn together as we live out a life of integrity, civility, and wisdom.

Student Stories

Initially, SPU wasn’t at the top of her potential college list. But everything changed when she visited campus and began talking with the admissions staff.

She first heard about SPU from a family friend, then toured SPU as a pit stop on a family road trip during her junior year of high school.

For Nikhil, there’s much more to SPU than just basketball. He knew it would be a “no-brainer” for him to come to Seattle.

The lunchtime chatter in Seattle Pacific’s Student Union Building quiets as Joseph Pham blew into a pitch pipe.
