Falcon Formation

Falcon Formation is an invitation to continue your learning outside the classroom. It aligns with Seattle Pacific University’s Undergraduate Degree Learning Outcomes (PDF), established by the faculty in 2005. Both Falcon Formation and the Undergraduate Learning Outcomes have been designed in conjunction with the University mission statement.

Whether you are a prospective or current student, a parent, or a faculty or staff member, you’re invited to browse these pages to discover how vital Falcon Formation is to life at Seattle Pacific. We think the work we are doing is changing the lives of our students, as well as our own.

And when we talk about Falcon Formation, we mean the whole person, in a combination unique to the SPU experience.

When you’re a student at Seattle Pacific, whether you are attending class, participating in a club, leading a Bible study, playing on an intramural team, or setting up a meeting with a career counselor, you are participating in, and being shaped by, Falcon Formation. These concepts certainly aren’t new to the life of Seattle Pacific University, but this is a way of defining what we have been doing for decades — the combination of these ways of learning and engaging are unique to the SPU experience.
