Learn about the connection between homelessness and affordable housing, public policy and advocacy. Ben Miksch, Affordable Housing Policy & Advocacy Specialist with the Washington Low Income Housing Alliance, will share his perspective on federal housing policy and the 2015 legislative agenda regarding homelessness and affordable housing in Washington State.

Intercultural Retreat Registration

Join fellow students in striving to better understand the multifaceted nature of reconciliation and live life as reconcilers, all the while engaging in community, participating in discussions and conversations, and having fun through games, activities, and zip lining at Lake Retreat Camp, January 30–February 1. Cost is $15.

Student Support Team

The Student Support Team (SST) is a program designed to identify and support students who are struggling academically, socially, or personally. The SST consists of Student Life professionals who meet regularly during the academic year to confidentially discuss appropriate and timely interventions for students in need of assistance and guidance.

Resources for Students

Athletics

We provide opportunities for student-athletes to participate in 14 sports in NCAA Division II and the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. All students have the opportunity to participate in Intramurals.

 

Center for Career and Calling
We help students discover their best skills and vocational
calling and find resources to reach their goals.

Center for Learning
We support the educational success of students through
tutoring, individual consultations, Disability Support Services
and more.

 

Multi-Ethnic Programs
We promote the exploration and development of racial and ethnic identity and cross cultural competence for all students and support academic, social, and cultural adjustment of students from diverse backgrounds.

 

Residence Life
We oversee educational programming and develop
living-learning communities.

Student Counseling Center
We provide a variety of counseling, educational, consultation
and mental health services to students.
Student Programs
We foster community, and advocate diversity efforts through
educational, cultural, leadership, and social programs.
Health Services
We are a regular clinic providing low cost quality health care
primarily to students.

University Ministries

We serve as campus pastors to provide 1-on-1 and small group mentoring and pastoral counseling. We also partner with other campus groups to provide large-scale ministry and spiritual formation programming.
