The Student Counseling Center operates on a limited basis during the summer. The office is closed, however, messages will be received and reviewed regularly. Students seeking mental health resources may complete the Contact Us form (above). We will get in touch within a week to discuss options for accessing mental health services during the summer. Students with an urgent need should utilize one of the crisis resources provided under the Emergency Assistance tab. We look forward to welcoming students back in September!
The Student Counseling Center provides free and confidential counseling to SPU undergraduate students. We offer support to the SPU community by way of consultation, referrals and campus engagement. All services are designed to support student wellness.
We are staffed by professional licensed counselors, a registered dietician, professional graduate student interns and professional counseling externs.
We strive to provide all services with compassion, respect, and sensitivity to the uniqueness of each concern and diversity of each student. The SCC is welcoming and inclusive of all students. This includes students of any race, ethnicity, national origin, age, religion, ability, gender identity and sexual identity.
