Student Counseling Center

An individual counseling session at the SPU Student Counseling Center

Beginning March 31st, The Student Counseling Center is open for scheduled appointments only. First time appointments and same day crisis counseling may be scheduled by calling our front desk. We strongly encourage all students to take steps to protect themselves from illness (more here). Telehealth counseling may be an option for some students; students should contact SCC or their counselor directly to explore this option.

The Student Counseling Center provides free and confidential counseling to SPU undergraduate students. We offer support to the SPU community by way of consultation, referrals and campus engagement. All services are designed to support student wellness.

We are staffed by professional licensed counselors, a registered dietician, professional graduate student interns and professional counseling externs.

We strive to provide all services with compassion, respect, and sensitivity to the uniqueness of each concern and diversity of each student.
