The Reading Room is home to a wide variety of current magazines, journals, and newspapers as well as our Popular Fiction collection. It is located to the right of the entrance of the library and is open to all patrons.

Thursday, January 24, 2013, the library will be closed from 9:15 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. to allow for campus-wide participation in the Homecoming Celebration Chapel.
In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Library hours are reduced to 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2013.

Need to watch a movie for class? Or prepare for a group presentation? The SPU Library has a media room on the lower level, fully equipped with a computer, a large LCD display, a VCR, and a DVD player. Make a reservation online to make sure it’s available.
The Library takes part in the universitywide Christmas Closure from December 22, 2012 - January 1, 2013. While the website remains accessible, no other services are available during this time. Library hours on January 2 will be 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. The library staff wishes you a Merry Christmas.
