Dates to qualify

First year and Transfer students can attend two qualifying virtual visits and one in-person visit through the Admissions office to earn a Visit Scholarship of up to $1,500 for Autumn Quarter 2025!

First-year students must visit between September 1, 2024–May 1, 2025.
Transfer students must visit between September 1, 2024–July 1, 2025.
Post-baccalaureate students are not eligible for the visit scholarship.

Students starting in Winter Quarter must visit by December 15 prior to enrollment.
Students starting in Spring Quarter must visit by March 15 prior to enrollment.

Automatic qualifications

Visit scholarships will be automatically awarded to students who meet the following conditions:

  1. Are admitted to SPU (even if they’re admitted after their visit date)
  2. Have registered and attended two qualifying official, Admissions-sponsored, virtual visits ($500) or one in-person campus visit ($1,000), during the dates listed above, during the year prior to enrollment. Only one Zoom appointment with an admissions counselor can count toward the virtual portion of the scholarship.
  3. Enroll full-time at Seattle Pacific for the upcoming Autumn Quarter.

This scholarship of up to $1,500 is non-renewable (one year only), and is dispersed over the Autumn, Winter, and Spring quarters of a student’s first year at SPU.

Events that do NOT qualify

The following do not count towards a Visit Scholarship:

  • Parent webinars
  • Self-guided tours or our 360 interactive virtual tour
  • New Student Advising
  • Athletics visits

*Students must register for two virtual visits to earn $500, and one on campus visit to earn an additional $1,000. Only one Zoom appointment with an admissions counselor can count toward the $500 virtual visit scholarship. Your visit must be marked as attended by an admissions staff member. The Visit Scholarship is automatically awarded based on the “attended” status, and students will receive an alert from Student Financial Services when their financial aid package is updated.


Holidays or final exams are not the best time to plan your visit. You're always welcome to walk around campus, but little or no visit services are offered on these dates:
