Admissions job: My job is to oversee recruitment and admission of undergraduate international students and to be your resource for questions about admission, study visas, and preparing for life in the USA.
Hometown: Mill Creek, Washington
Education: University of Washington – double majors in Linguistics and Korean
Favorite thing about SPU: I love the feeling of community on campus at SPU. It feels like anywhere you go on campus, you can run into someone you know and find a friendly face.
Favorite Seattle restaurant: Kizuki Ramen
A trip I’d like to take: I’ve always wanted to go to Kyoto, Japan, or maybe see Mt. Fuji! I’d also love to go back to Korea to visit some old friends in Seoul.
Favorite movie: Overall, probably Arrival (2016). Huge fan of Ari Aster, Mike Flanagan, and Denis Villeneuve.
Hobbies & fun facts: I love hiking, especially to beautiful vistas. I’ve also been a huge audio technology nerd ever since I was a teenager. I also enjoy playing the synthesizer and practicing my Korean language skills in my spare time.
