Hometown: Mill Creek, Washington

Education: Graduate of Cedar Park Christian High School in Mountlake Terrace, and holder of dual bachelor’s degrees from University of Washington

Major: BA in Linguistics and BA in Korean Language

Favorite Seattle Restaurant: Kizuki Ramen

A trip I’d like to take: I’ve always wanted to go to Kyoto, Japan, or maybe see Mt. Fuji! I’d also love to go back to Korea to visit some old friends in Seoul.

Family: I’ve got two younger brothers and two younger sisters. I’m the oldest!

Books reading now: No books right now but plenty of podcasts!

Favorite Movie: Overall, probably Arrival (2016). Huge fan of Ari Aster, Mike Flanagan, and Denis Villeneuve.

Favorite thing about SPU: I love the passion and care that the staff and faculty on campus have for their students. It’s clear everyone working here would go to the moon and back for our amazing student body.

Hobbies & Fun Facts: I love hiking, especially to beautiful vistas. I’ve also been a huge audio technology nerd since I was a teenager. I love playing the synthesizer and making music in my spare time.
