Major: Business Administration (management). Minor: Psychology

“I have grown tremendously as a person and learned a lot about myself that I don’t think I would have learned if I went elsewhere and that isn’t just because of my major or the classes I had taken, it goes beyond that.”

Major: Political Science (public policy & law). Minor: Psychology

“I am thrilled to be attending Georgetown Law after graduation. Embarking on my journey this fall, I am filled with eagerness and excitement. I firmly believe that the opportunities and experiences I had at SPU have prepared me well for the challenges and growth that await me at Georgetown.”

Major: Journalism. Minor: Political Science

“I have grown in so many indescribable ways at SPU. I truly believe the faculty at this university taught me how to think. Note I did not say they taught me what to think, Instead they gave me the tools to form my own opinions and viewpoints given available information.”

Major: Biology

“It's never too late to go to college: Going to college later in life feels like teaching your brain to do calisthenics. It's hard work but it makes you stronger.”

Double Major: Political Science and Social Justice & Cultural Studies

"Going to college is one of the greatest accomplishments that can sometimes feel a little daunting, especially if you are a first-generation college student like me. It can be challenging to struggle with Imposter Syndrome-- but know that if you are here, it is because you are meant to be here.”

Major: Visual Communications, (graphic design). Minor in Digital Media Design and Business Administration

“Throughout my time at SPU, I have found what I am truly passionate about while also making some wonderful relationships along the way.”

Duel BA in Illustration and Honors Liberal Arts

Major: Sociology

“I am very excited to step into my master's program. I have been admitted into SPU's Marriage and Family Therapy program. I am not sure where the Lord will lead me post-grad but as for now, I am happy it is here at SPU.”

sofia

Major: Communication Studies. Minor: Spanish

“During my time at SPU, I have grown so much, not only academically but also personally. Many professors who contributed to my growth, taught me to embrace my failure as a learning opportunity. I made many meaningful connections with faculty and students who have continuously supported me for the past four years.”

Major: Social Justice & Cultural Studies (art for social change). Minors: Apparel Design/Merchandising and Psychology

“I have ambitiously taken on a massive combination of academic tracks with the intention of being an extremely well-rounded and open-minded individual. I feel that at the beginning of my first year of college, I felt a bit lost and while I thought I knew what major I wanted to pursue going into my undergraduate career — I still switched around my majors a lot until I realized that I shouldn't limit my interests and absorb as much of them as possible.”

Major: Computer Science

“I discovered a wealth of support at SPU, from the counseling center to the financial office. Overcoming obstacles has allowed me to grow a lot, both personally and professionally. So, here I am today, ready to graduate, thanks to the wonderful people at SPU, my co-workers at CPE, and my dedicated software engineering team.”

Major: Biochemistry

“My time in the classroom and my time on the men’s soccer team has allowed me to develop into a more understanding person and a better leader. I have been fortunate enough to learn from some great role models what it looks like to lead, and I hope to carry that with me into the future.”

Major: Integrated Studies (mathematics)

"I'm excited to have my own classroom and build relationships with middle school students that help repair any negative feelings towards math that they may have developed in previous years."

Major: Apparel Merchandising. Minor: Business Administration

“Have a tentative plan; does not have to be concrete. Don't be afraid to shift the course of your path — situations arise that may have not been in the 'plan' at all — embrace it."

Major: Physiology Minor: Chemistry

“I have grown both professionally and personally during my time at SPU. Not only has SPU has equipped me with the necessary skills for any professional setting, but I learned more about who I am and who I want to become.”

mariah

Major: Asian Studies. Minor: Film Studies and Honors Liberal Arts

“There is so much we can accomplish on our small campus and on a worldwide scale! I have grown so much since I first came to SPU, as any individual would in any university. What remains the same is this: life is not as bad as it seems and there will always be opportunities to discover and goals to work towards. Stay hopeful!.”
