SPU 125th Anniversary Gala Celebration

Seattle Pacific University’s 125th Anniversary Gala is a multimedia experience at the celebrated Fremont Studios. Together, we will honor SPU’s past successes, and celebrate current accomplishments and contributions to our city and world. Most importantly, we will recognize the University’s strength and position to positively impact the future.

Join some of our notable alumni who are coming together to celebrate their alma mater:

Joseph

Joseph, a band of three sisters whose unique music feeds our souls with the goodness of family, harmony, and beauty. Joseph has recently performed on “The Tonight Show,” “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” They depart from their world tour to perform for us this evening.

Tim Hanstad

Tim Hanstad, co-founder of the land rights organization Landesa, which has helped raise 120 million people out of poverty in 50 countries.

Jeff Hussey

Jeff Hussey, founder of the multibillion-dollar tech giant F5, who is now working to ensure online security at his company, Tempered Networks.

Sharon Okamoto

Sharon Okamoto brings visionary leadership and outstanding experience to Seattle Urban Academy where she is executive director and principal.

Eugene Peterson

Widely acclaimed author of more than 30 books, including The Message: The Bible in Contemporary Language, which has sold over 15 million copies worldwide.
