Major/Minor: Sociology; Mathematics and History

Plans after graduation: 

Getting my master’s of divinity at Harvard University and working towards ordination in the United Church of Christ. 

What are you most proud of from your time at SPU? 

Discovering my vocation of pastoral work.

What is a fun fact about you? 

I am extremely scared of heights, but I liked skydiving. 

What are some of your career goals? 

Getting a dual master degrees in divinity and public policy, becoming ordained in a church, getting my PhD in the study of religion, become involved in chaplaincy for government bodies, and teach theology. 

What is something you wish everyone knew about your major? 

Sociology is incredibly important to any field to understand social constructs. 

What is a piece of advice you’d like to leave for those still in school? 

Be brave and lean into the unknown if you know that's the direction you are called to go into. Always have a mentor!!

Anything else you’d like to add? 

Have fun, you can always have goals, but be in a posture of learning and trying new things.
