The latest SPU Voices podcast features alumnus Squire Broel ’92. After graduating from SPU, he spent the next six years gaining insight and experience through travels around Southeast Asia and as a patineur for the Walla Walla Foundry. Near the end of 1997, he left the foundry to open Broel Studio. Employing his education, knowledge of art history, and experience as patineur, Squire is painting and sculpting to visually express everyday objects and experiences with thoughtful honesty and reflection.
The SPU Voices podcast, produced by the Office of Alumni, Parent, and Family Relations, is a monthly interview show dedicated to telling inspiring and compelling stories.
