Alissa Mahar, associate vice president strategy & operations (CFO & COO) for the University of Washington Information Technology Division, has been named the next vice president for business and finance at Seattle Pacific University.
At the University of Washington, she oversaw a unit of 600 employees, 60 under her direct supervision, and a budget of $165 million. Alissa brings demonstrated skills of financial planning and budgeting, strategic planning and alignment, and proven executive leadership. She has experience in overseeing information technology, facilities, campus safety, bookstore, food services, legal affairs, private and public partnership, and participation and leadership in a recent implementation of Workday. Her previous experience as vice president finance & operations (CFO) at Clackamas College included supervision of finance, budgeting, human resources, information technology, facilities and grounds, campus services and capital projects, bond campaigns, college safety, operational resiliency, real estate, student housing initiatives, bookstore, food services, and community partnerships.

Mahar will assume her new role on August 1, 2024.
