  • The minor in Data Science is an interdisciplinary minor and requires a total of 30 credits, 15 of which need to be upper-division.
  • Required courses include courses in disciplines including mathematics, engineering, business, and computer science.
  • The minor in Data Analytics is an excellent supplement to any major, providing valuable skills for employment in many careers.

Entering the Data Science Minor

You may enter the Data Science minor during your first quarter at SPU. Entrance after your first quarter requires only good academic standing (2.0 or higher SPU cumulative GPA). Consult the Undergraduate Catalog for complete information on how and when to enter and what you must do to complete the program.
