Wendy S. Woolsey earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in music therapy with a minor in communicative disorders at the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music. She completed a music therapy internship at the UCSF Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute in San Francisco, CA and the Allied Team Training for Parkinsons (ATTP). Ms. Woolsey has been a board-certified music therapist, working with adults and children with neurological disorders in California and Washington for over 25 years. Ms. Woolsey is an instructor of music therapy and the music therapy clinical coordinator at Seattle Pacific University.

Ms. Woolsey is the Vice President of the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA), serves on the Washington state recognition task force and is on the board of directors for Kinship Connection, connecting and empowering kinship caregivers. Ms. Woolsey served on the AMTA, Western Region of AMTA and Music Therapy Association of Washington's board of directors and is a past Chair of the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT). Ms. Woolsey is a recipient of the UOP outstanding graduate award, received the publication Award from the Western Region Chapter of the American Music Therapy Association and is published in Music Therapy Perspectives.
