Concert Choir

The Concert Choir is the principal Seattle Pacific University choral ensemble, performing in concerts and at high ceremonies each quarter. Concert Choir has a rich history, reaching back to the first year of the University’s existence.

Recognized regionally and nationally for its excellence, Concert Choir has been invited to perform in numerous locations:

The choir enjoys a distinguished reputation for performance of innovative and remarkable choral literature, regularly issuing recordings of its music.

As a member of Concert Choir, you will experience a rich and robust environment for vocal, spiritual, and leadership development, both as an individual and as part of an ensemble. Most importantly, being a part of the ensemble offers a chance to excel in something you love, to work and create with a wonderful group of people, and to form friendships that will endure for a lifetime.

Membership

Membership in Concert Choir is by audition. Whether you are a Music major, a Music minor, or a nonmajor, you are invited to audition for Concert Choir. Auditions are held at the beginning of Autumn Quarter (notices to be posted in the lobby of Crawford Music Building prior to the beginning of the quarter). A yearlong commitment is expected, and you may take the course an unlimited number of times.
