Seattle Pacific University offers a variety of STEM-designated degree programs, meaning many of our academic offerings meet the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) definition of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields. These programs are recognized by DHS for their STEM-focused content and are designed to equip students with the technical expertise employers value in today’s global and domestic markets. F-1 nonimmigrant students who earn a DHS-approved STEM degree and complete 12 months of post-completion OPT may also qualify for a 24-month OPT extension.

In addition to offering rigorous STEM-eligible undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, SPU is ranked a Best National University by U.S. News & World Report and also offers other undergraduate majors, master’s, and doctoral programs.

Any new additions to these areas will be included on this STEM-Eligible Degree Program list.
