Faith & Co. offers free class

Just released, season two of the Faith & Co. documentary series considers how Christian faith shapes the way organizations engage with and manage employees. Filmed at eight companies across the United States, these films feature stories of people wrestling with the practical challenges of implementing faith-based principles in the workplace.

And on January 13, its newest course, “Serving Employees,” begins and runs for eight weeks. Offered online and taught by SPU professors, you can take it for free or for credit.

These films may just change the way you think about your employees — or about being an employee. Check out the new films and sign up now for the course.

Community Kitchen combines learning, service, and great food

What do you get when you bring together creative and caring SPU students, area neighbors, and great food? SPU's Community Kitchen, a unique opportunity to serve individuals in need of affordable food, cooking and meal planning skills, and more.

Established in 2011, the Community Kitchen has given students in the Food and Nutrition program a way to explore their vocation as future dietitians or professionals in the food and nutrition industry, marketing, public relations, or community development fields. It also gives them a chance to love their neighbors and share a passion for nutritious food. Visit the website to learn more — and find the recipes.
