On Aug. 25, 2022, SPU Board of Trustees chair, Dean Kato, announced that Dr. Pete Menjares agreed to remain in place as the interim president for Seattle Pacific University.
"I know I speak for the entire Board in expressing heartfelt gratitude for his willingness to lead SPU in the months ahead and throughout the process of finding the next president for the University," said Kato.
