Education: BS, Eastern Washington University, 1988; MSN, Seattle Pacific University, 2005; Certificate in Nursing Education, University of Northern Colorado, 2007; PhD, Washington State University, 2010. At SPU since 2005.
Dr. Aaberg came to Seattle Pacific after extensive clinical practice as a nurse. She has always worked with pregnant women in some way; mostly in hospitals as a labor and delivery nurse, but also in clinic and home-care settings. As a bedside nurse she had the opportunity to work with and mentor nurses new to the maternal-newborn experience, sparking her interest in teaching.
Dr. Aaberg teaches courses at SPU about maternal-newborn nursing, human sexuality and nursing, and human sexuality.
