Paul Inho Lee is the Engineering Laboratories Coordinator for Engineering and Computer Science within the College of Arts and Sciences at Seattle Pacific University. He has served SPU on-and-off since 2014; the year that the Edward Giaimo Mechanical Laboratory or “the shop” began. In this capacity, Paul’s primary role is to support operations of the machine shop but also enjoys being an instructor for the machine shop course EGR 1502. In addition to his role as instructor and labs coordinator, Paul enjoys supporting any student needs that require manufacturing work on a project including those of the Senior and Junior Design Teams and the SPU BAJA Racing Team.

Paul brings a wealth of knowledge and over 20 years of experience from a variety of building trades as well as the aerospace and maritime manufacturing industries. In addition, Paul draws upon his rich experience having been an instructor for programs that seek to promote education and employment opportunity for those that had been formerly incarcerated, struggle with mental health or addiction, experience early pregnancy, or have barriers to education/employment otherwise.

It is Paul’s goal to share his knowledge and experience; as a Christ following servant of God, with the next generation of engineering professionals. Paul joins the rest of the Engineering and Computer Science Faculty and Staff in his desire to provide a safe and enjoyable experience while working in the Edward Giaimo Mechanical Laboratory!
