This performance commemorates the 100-year anniversary of the SPU School of Music! In celebration, we're putting on a fun, free performance, with costumes and snacks! A few years ago, SPU faculty Doug Thorpe (Professor Emeritus) paired Stravinsky's The Soldier's Tale with his own libretto, that modernizes the tale. Now our hero is a business woman who has fallen prey to the temptations of capitalism, and who now has a big decision to make. What will she choose?
Come join our all-star cast of musicians: SPU Music Faculty - Brian Chin, Todd Gowers, Dan Adams, Christopher Hanson, Mary Kantor, Dave Krosschell, Jan Nelson, Maggii Weitzel plus special guests: Eric Rynes and Francine Peterson.
