Randall Lane, one of our Executive Advisory Board members, was recently recognized as the 2014 Inclusion & Diversity Super Star by Diversity Woman magazine, and honored at their Diversity Leadership "Stars Who Mean Business" awards celebration on October 9 at the Grand Floridian Convention Center in Orlando.
The Diversity Leadership "Stars Who Mean Business" awards celebrate leadership excellence in diversity by acknowledging chief diversity officers, top diversity professionals, business executives, and others who have driven this work within their corporation, nonprofit, academic, or government office. The Super Star category recognizes those who create diversity excellence and impact across organizations, industries, and disciplines.
Randall's nomination was made by I&D peers in the industry; a committee of prominent leaders in the diversity/human resource arena and executive leadership of Diversity Woman magazine selected him for the honor. He is the first man to receive this award.
At the ceremony, he was cited for working behind the scenes with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, as well as with Verizon, Time Warner, and American Express.
