Kathleen, a native of Phoenix, Arizona, came to Seattle for her undergraduate studies. With the exception of a one-year hiatus, she has remained in Seattle, somehow learning how to tolerate the rain, gray skies, and cooler weather. However, she is known to go back to Phoenix to see the sun, but that’s usually in the dark, dreary months of January and February.
Kathleen is the executive assistant to the dean and works as the office manager for SBGE, where she oversees the day-to-day operations of the school. She also acts as the events coordinator for the dean and the school. Before joining the SBGE team, Kathleen worked for a Seattle-based private philanthropy focused on improving and ultimately eliminating the need for foster care in the United States. Prior to that, she practiced law with several law firms in downtown Seattle. In her spare time, Kathleen enjoys running, traveling, reading, doing crossword puzzles with her husband, Andy, and eating out at all the wonderful restaurants Seattle has to offer.
