Graduate Program Advisor/Coordinator
Office: McKenna Hall 222
Education: BA, Loyola Marymount University, 2006; MFA, University of California Irvine, 2010. At SPU since 2020.
Megan grew up in San Diego, CA. In 2010, she and her husband embarked on an adventure and moved to Seattle, where they were blessed by all the wonders of the northwest. Megan spent the first half of her adult life immersed in the unique profession of theatrical design. She enjoyed the privilege of pouring through the costume racks at Warner Brothers Studios and contributed her talents to a few prominent companies, including Centre Theatre Group in Los Angeles, Village Theatre, and Seattle Opera.
In 2014, Megan's passion for supporting human growth called her to serve students, and she pivoted into the role of international advisor. She joyfully served a diverse body of students for nearly five years. In 2019, she and her husband briefly moved back to California to be closer to family. However, in leaving the Pacific Northwest, they both felt quickly called back to this beautiful corner of the world. In her spare time, Megan loves to wander farmers' markets, journal, cook and travel.
Megan is inspired every day by those who strive to live a more purpose-driven life. She passionately supports student success and embraces SBGE's mission to wholeheartedly champion the cause for human flourishing.
