Adjunct Faculty

Education: BA, Calvin College; MA, MDFT, Seattle Pacific University

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Calvin College, Michigan. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with the state of Washington and have a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a post-graduate certificate in Medical Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University. I am a Mental Health Professional, Child Mental Health Professional, State Approved Supervisor and Asian and Pacific Islander Ethnic Minority Population Specialist, and an AAMFT (American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists) Approved Supervisor.

I have been an Adjunct Faculty with the MFT program since 2010. I have a clinical private practice where I mainly work with adults and couples around relational and intimacy issues. Originally from Hong Kong, I came to the U.S. at age 18. In my work, I have many opportunities to work with people from all ethnicities, different cultural backgrounds and different immigration history and that is one of the many aspects of my work that I really enjoy. When I am not busy with my two kids (age 7 and 10) and family, I enjoy ice-skating, yoga and reading.
