Dr. Arnett will present current research on childhood attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), including an overview of the clinical symptoms, cognitive profile, genetic origins, and neurobiological (brain level) differences. The talk will focus on a known barrier to understanding ADHD which is the heterogeneity (individual variability) in the cause and clinical presentation of the disorder. Dr. Arnett will discuss her ongoing research and provide an overview of what we know, what we are learning, and where researchers are heading with this work in the future.
