Effective study is more than just rereading your notes or texts. It’s explaining concepts in your own words; turning your notes into visuals (ex. charts, mind maps); and self-quizzing. Study in the way you will be asked to know the material
Don’t walk in cold. Preview what your class will be covering before class. You’ll understand more because you have context and familiarity. Read chapter summaries, skim sections, and note new vocabulary.
