Office of Risk Management

The Office of Risk Management is tasked with the following:

  • Review university business contracts.
  • Administer waivers for campus events and activities.
  • Coordinate institutional liability insurance policies and claims.
  • Advise departments on legal compliance and risk management related to university activities and programs.

This office also collaborates with other offices to promote campus safety and security and emergency preparedness.

In addition, the Office of Safety and Security reports to the assistant vice president for risk management and university counsel. Seattle Pacific University students and employees can access online the Office of Risk Management policies.

The Office of Risk Management reports to the Office of the Vice President for Business and Finance.
