Presents methods for elementary and middle-level instruction in science with math integration. Includes analysis of the nature of science and its relationship to inquiry-based learning and mathematics. Prepares students to design inquiry-based lessons predicated on exploration and discovery. Considers resource materials such as those produced by the American Association for the Advancement of Science along with science standards.
