CPY 7400: Ethics and Laws in Clinical Psychology (2022-2023)

This course introduces students to the APA ethics code of professional conduct, as well as broader formulations of moral character and antiracism as part of psychological practice. Students become familiar with the laws pertinent to psychologists in the State of Washington. Foundational concepts of beneficence, non-maleficence, autonomy, fidelity, and justice are applied with respect to clinical service and the conduct of researchers.
