Dr. Amy Mezulis is a clinical psychologist interested in biological and psychological pathways to adolescent-onset disorders of emotion regulation such as depression and self-injury. She identifies as a developmental psychopathologist with a focus on both normal and abnormal mental health trajectories and the joint contributions of biological vulnerability and environmental context.
Dr. Mezulis’ professional distinctions include receiving an American Psychological Association dissertation award as well as competitive grant funding from the National Association for Research in Schizophrenia and Depression (NARSAD) and the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH).
Dr. Mezulis maintains professional collaborations with colleagues in both the United States (University of Washington; University of Utah; University of Wisconsin) and Europe (Leuven University, Belgium; University of Groningen, The Netherlands; Ghent University, Belgium).
