Angie Vazquez presents research at Fred Hutchinson symposium

Angie Vazquez (BS Physiology '21) spent her summer engaged in scientific research as part of the Pathways Undergraduate Research internship program at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.  Angie, working in the lab of Dr. Michael Emerman, measured the expression of a virally-regulated gene using several experimental techniques. She presented her data to the public as part of the program's symposium on August 23, 2019.  Angie's long-term goal is to pursue a career in cancer biology and medicine.
