Kwame Johnson, M.D., earned his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine; after working at Microsoft and then Google, he is currently the lead clinical product manager at AliveCor, one of the top healthcare technology startups in Silicon Valley.
In that role, Dr. Johnson leverages cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities as well as advanced user-experience research and design expertise to build software tools that enhance the ability of healthcare providers to care for patients with various cardiovascular diseases, such as atrial fibrillation and hypertension.
Dr. Johnson is passionate about the increasing role of technology in pushing the edges of what’s possible in medicine to improve health and reduce the burden of disease for patients, their loved ones, and the healthcare professionals who care for them.
Outside of work, he enjoys all that living in the San Francisco Bay Area has to offer, including communing with nature, mountain biking, wine tasting, and eating world class food.
