Dr. Copeland provides leadership for the advancement of faculty professional development and mentoring, teaching and scholarly excellence, and integration of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in instructional design. She also provides oversight to the Office for Sponsored Programs, which assists faculty in applying for external grants and fellowships.
Dr. Copeland is an associate professor of apparel design and merchandising at SPU. She received her PhD in Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and her MBA in Business Administration and BS in Business Management from North Carolina Central University.
