Falcons earn 10th GNAC title with 2-0 win over Vikings

For the 10th time in program history, SPU's women's soccer team secured the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Championship with a 2–0 win over Western Washington on Thursday night.

Student Financial Services (SFS) is the one-stop place to get information on bills and loans, payments, financial aid info, and student employment. Find out when payments are due and pay them online at the SFS website

Study Abroad: Twenty Meters Under the Sea

In 2022, SPU students and professors traveled to the island of Bali, Indonesia, to study marine life and help rejuvenate the island's valuable coral reefs. Students can join the next study abroad program to Bali in the summer of 2024.

NWCCU Affirms Accreditation

 SPU received accreditation from the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. This marks the 90th year SPU has been accredited by the NWCCU.

SPU Autumn Choir Concert

Nov. 3 at 7:30 p.m. First Free Methodist Church

Don't miss this autumn choir concert, featuring the Concert Choir and Chamber Singers under the direction of Director of Choral Music Ryan Ellis, and the Treble Choir under the direction of Beth Ann Bonnecroy. The event is free, open to the public, and handicapped accessible. 


Women's Soccer vs. Simon Fraser

Nov. 4 at 5 p.m. Interbay Soccer Stadium 

Fresh off their Thursday night GNAC Championship win over the Vikings, the women's soccer team will celebrate eight seniors at senior night before the Falcons play Simon Fraser at Interbay Stadium. Ticket can be purchased online.


SPU Theatre presents The Christians

Nov. 4 at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. McKinley Hall

Pastor Paul has a major announcement for his congregation. He thinks everyone will be happy with what he has to say. He's wrong. 

A play about faith (and faithfulness) in America — and the trouble changing your mind. Directed by Richard Lorig. Written by Lucas Hnath, who won the 2016 Obie Award for excellence in playwriting for The Christians. Tickets are available here


Mark Abbott Lecture on Preaching

Nov. 7 at 6 p.m. First Free Methodist Church

Join us for a special, all-day conference from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a public lecture following the conference at 6 p.m.

The keynote speaker for the conference and evening lecture is the Rev. Dr. Joy J. Moore, an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church and the professor of biblical preaching at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. Additional keynote messages from the Rev. Dr. Scott Dudley, senior pastor at Bellevue Presbyterian Church; preaching from the Rev. Peter Chin, senior pastor at Rainer Avenue Church; and a panel discussion framed by the Rev. Michael Thomas, senior pastor at Radiant Church. Additional breakouts will be led by Dr. Stephen Newby and the Rev. Ashley Skinner Creek.

SPU Symphony Orchestra's Autumn Concert

Under the direction of Director of Music Education and Orchestral Activities Christopher T.F. Hanson, the acclaimed SPU Symphony Orchestra performs in their first concert of the year. This event is free, open to the public, and wheelchair accessible.
