UCOL 1000: Falcon Fitness (2021-2022)

This course, a weekly discussion-based seminar, introduces first-year college students to learning in an academic community. This colloquium will examine the different parameters of physical fitness. Students will learn to design and implement various exercise programs with different modalities. We will discuss strategies to incorporate a habit of a personal physical activity routine and ways to motivate others of various populations to improve their fitness. Students will also engage in planning coursework, choosing majors and minors, laying out their academic path, working with faculty, and connecting with campus resources.
