PSY 3460: Child Developmental Psychology (2018-2019)

Prerequisite: A C- or better in PSY 1180. Surveys child development from conception through late childhood, focusing on physical, cognitive, social, emotional and moral development. Child development within various social and cultural contexts will be explored. Students will have the opportunity to examine the main theories and concepts in relation to applied challenges and controversies in child development. Finally, students will gain an understanding of various methodologies used to assess child development.
