UCOL 1000: Asian American Voices (2024-2025)

This course, a weekly discussion-based seminar, introduces first-year college students to learning in an academic community. In this colloquium, students will engage with issues and ideas impacting Asian American communities, past and present. Through inquiry, discussion, and guided reflection, students will explore the histories and contemporary experiences of Asian Americans in the US. Students will also engage in planning coursework, choosing majors and minors, laying out their academic path, working with faculty, and connecting with campus resources.
