HHP 2195: Research Methods in Health & Sports Science (2024-2025)

This course explores the philosophy and research in Human Movement Sciences. Students will critically analyze, compile, and synthesize current peer-reviewed literature in the field of health, physical activity, and exercise science. Using several frameworks, students will engage in analytical writing and identify strengths and limitations to create new research paradigms. This course will also introduce students to research methods including but not limited to sampling, study design, statistics, measures and pilot study techniques.
