Explores the process of social research, the nature of scientific inquiry, and basic research design including surveys, experiments, field research, and unobtrusive methods. Note: PSY 3588 may be substituted for SOC 4751 in sociology and related majors although SOC 4751 is the preferred course. Students may not receive credit for both SOC 4751 and PSY 3588.
