Investigates human physiology from an evolutionary perspective. The study of physiological homeostasis (e.g. cell signaling and tissue dynamics, muscle contraction and development, cardiovascular and respiratory integration) will be contrasted with the same systems under stress (e.g. illness or environmental changes).
