NUR 3130: Health and Illness 3: Theory (2022-2023)

This course introduces new concepts and elaborates on previously examined concepts in the Person-Biophysical and Person-Psychosocial categories. Course content will include the nursing process as it applies to reproductive health, and to community and public health. In conjunction with Professional Nursing 3, students will explore the role of the nurse in regard to health promotion and maintenance, particularly within families and communities. Specific concepts introduced include Reproduction, Cellular Regulation, Violence, and Community as Client.
