UCOL 1000: Let's Talk About Race (2024-2025)

This course, a weekly discussion-based seminar, introduces first-year college students to learning in an academic community. In this colloquium, students will be invited to participate in discussions about race, diversity, and reconciliation. Through discovery, community, and engaging conversations, this course will introduce students to ways to unpack and unveil some realities of race relations and its intersections and impact on our stories. Students will also engage in planning coursework, choosing majors and minors, laying out their academic path, working with faculty, and connecting with campus resources.
