Post-Tenure Review

Tenured faculty should undergo post-tenure reviews at least every five years (see Faculty HandbookSection 5.5.5). Schools and departments are free to create their own annual schedules for post-tenure reviews, but should send a brief report to the Office of the Provost. All reporting for these reviews must be completed by the end of Spring Quarter (June 20, 2022).


Non-Tenure Track Review Process

Faculty in non-tenure track positions shall be evaluated in the third year of their full-time employment. Performance reviews should recur at least every five years thereafter (see Faculty HandbookSection 5.5.4). Schools and departments are free to create their own annual schedules for non-tenure track faculty performance reviews, but should send a brief report to the Office of the Provost. All reporting for these reviews must be completed by the end of Spring Quarter (June 8, 2024).

Winter Quarter 2024

Step-Increase Recommendations

Contact your department chair or dean indicating your eligibility prior to the due date. Deans then make their recommendations to the Office of the Provost as part of the annual contracting process.
